Unfortunately i haven't been to Mavrovo, some my friend were there a long time ago and than it was a very small resort.I looked at their site now and it seams fine.I usually ski on Kopaonik because i have a house there and sometimes on Jahorina.I can recommend both of these places especially Kopaonik because there are tracks for every level of skier (about 20 ski lifts) and there were a lot of investments during last few years so now it is modern ski center.Some my friends recommend Bulgaria , especially Borovec.That is if you like Balkan peninsula, it is cheaper than Europe and it is not too far for Cyprus :)
